W.A.S. Sports Leadership Podcast
Expect the Unexpected and Get After It!
Championships, All-Star Nominations, Coach of the Year and Most Valuable Player Awards. We all get into playing or coaching sports with the expectation of triumphant victories or performances and moments of glory that will last a lifetime. If you have ever stepped foot on the field, you find out very quickly that our expectations are not reality! Often times you find that you’ve stepped into the “unexpected” shit in the woods within minutes of a practice or game. What you expect to happen did not, and now you have to figure out how to clean your shoe, buckle up the chinstrap, and move forward.
We are sports people for the sports people who don’t mind a little bit of dirt and grit – sharing our stories, insights, and commentary on all things sport!
